Rickey is a handsome approximately 2-3 year old shepherd who was originally adopted from the Stockton shelter but returned after he started having seizures. He joined Idaho German Shepherd Rescue with the help of Stella's Shelter Fund and the Underground Railroad in Spring 2022. Rickey is one fun guy--he has a great personality, super sweet, great with other dogs, and walks nicely on leash.
Rickey has epilepsy and will need continued management. He's currently on phenobarbital and potassium bromide, and has been seizure-free on this mix for over a year. His meds are around $100-120/month. No cats or small animals for this guy, and he needs a secure yard.
