Buster is a 2 year old male German Shepherd who arrived at the Downey Shelter as a stray, emaciated and with severe hair loss. During his time in the shelter he also developed an upper respiratory infection, had giardia, and then got an infection after his neuter. But Buster finally caught a break when we pulled him. He spent a few weeks at a vet in California and then made the trip to Idaho in mid-March. Buster is in a foster with two other dogs and a toddler and is doing great. He is extremely sweet, crate trained, does well with other dogs, and is an all-around great pup. He's a little too excited about cats, so we'd recommend a cat free home at this time. If you're interested in adopting Buster, please read about our adoption process and fees and fill out an application.
